Financial group donates 300-kilo bulls to Luxembourg-based aid organisation "Stemm vun der Strooss"
Spiesheim, 31. May 2023 – Support non-profit organizations to help people in need – is most oftenly monetarily. However, fund2seed and the Foundation Bienenelfe have opted for an unconventional way of helping and donate a whole cow with a net meat weight in excess of 300 kilos.
fund2seed supports organizations in fundraising and in the development of sustainable financing solutions. The company is not only involved in Germany, but also in Luxembourg in order to consistently implement the philosophy of sustainable management. For their own donation, they have therefore chosen "Stemm vun der Strooss" as the recipient. The organisation has been working for the social and professional integration of disadvantaged people in Luxembourg since 1996 and is considered a leading institution in the field of helping the homeless. Particular attention is paid to the reintegration of offenders, drug addicts and other disadvantaged persons.
The donation is intended to set an example for the use of resources. The bull comes from a herd of cattle from the non-profit Foundation Bienenelfe, which offers young animals from its own breeding for sale and takes care of animal welfare-oriented rearing. The aim is to turn consumers into responsible pet owners. Bienenelfe founder Denise Ulbrich emphasizes the sustainable idea behind the extraordinary donation: "Unfortunately, not all of our animals find a buyer or animal sponsor. Since we focus on the sustainable use of resources, we wanted to remain true to our philosophy and donate the meat of the bull to those in need. With the help of fund2seed, we can make this possible."
Nadja Knoth, Managing Director of the fund2seed Group in Luxembourg: "This is not our first cooperation with "Stemm vun der Strooss". Already last December we had the opportunity to help with the food distribution of the Christmas party and to donate aprons. We were able to experience how grateful each individual was and what a great job the team of "Stemm vun der Strooss" does every day. Many of those in need are dependent on the offer of a daily, hot meal. With our campaign, however, we not only want to meet the demand, but also enable a moment of enjoyment in an otherwise rather rough everyday life."
